                      CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION 
                                
           A.  Conclusion 
               Metaphor is figurative language that lies way for creating a meaning. It is 
             because,  in  metaphor  shows  connotative  meaning  or  beside  meaning  than 
             denotative meaning. Understanding the meaning of metaphor that must be known 
             denotative  meaning  at  first  and  the  context  of  language  itself.  Compare  and 
             analysis denotative meaning based on situation, themes and context of language 
             used. After that we can see connotative meaning by imaginative way. 
               The researcher found metaphors in lyrics Salam Album song by Harris J, 
             metaphor  had  several  kinds.  Firts,  conventionaly  of  metaphor,  the  researcher 
             found two conventionality of metaphor. Second, cognitive function divided into 
             structural, ontological, orientational. In this research, the researcher found  five 
             structural, three ontological, two orientational. Third, the researcher found two 
             nature of metaphor. 
           B.  Suggestion  
               Being interested in analyzing kind of metaphor in Harris j songs: Album 
             salam. The researcher tried to give some suggestions as follow: The analysis of 
             this graduating paper is limited. Therefore, the researcher suggested the students 
             of English Department who are interested in this field to do further research, 
             particularity  about  kinds  metaphor  in  lyrics  song,  poetry  and  poem.  The

             researcher hoped this graduating paper could be a references for those want to do 
             further research in the others song lyric. Researcher  expectation for all Muslim 
             will get the advantages for this paper thesis. Especially in understanding meaning 
             and purposes of lyrics in album Salam songs because this song more contained of 
             good  messages.  There  were  about  faith  to  Allah  and  attitude  being  life  in 
             world.The last, the researcher fully realized that this graduating paper is still far 
             from  being  perfect;  therefore  any  constructive  criticism  will  be  highly 
             appreciated.
