       Report regarding 5 days subject specific training programme (online) in English for 
       secondary classes w.e.f 15/06/2021 to19/06/2021 at DRC Kathua. 
                   DIET Basohli organised subject specific training in English for secondary level 
       Masters/Teachers of District Kathua through virtual mode in which about 82 teachers 
       from District Kathua participated. A team of experts worked as Resource Persons. 
       Mr. Paawan Vivek DRG discussed and introduced ICT techniques. Effective methods 
       of teaching English, examination taking skills and syllabus of 10th class were discussed 
       by Smt. Satyadeep master. Grammatical aspects like articles, modals, prepositions 
       and tenses were covered by Sh. Jagdish Chand Sr. Lecturer and Sh. Bhupinder Singh 
       teacher  discussed  the  ways  to  improve  writing  skills,  poetic  devices,  teaching 
       material and teaching aids in English. On demand of teachers, preparation of ICT 
       tools, use of E-content in teaching of English were covered by Sh. Harpreet Singh 
       teacher. Mr. Ravi Kumar tr. taught about basics of English and English Grammar. 
       The five days training programme ended up with the valedictory by Principal DIET, 
       Basohli. He advised the teachers to work with zeal and zest and advised to enrich 
       their knowledge by attending such workshops and training programmes organised by 
       various agencies of education. Also asked them to take community classes during this 
       period of COVID pandemic.

       secondary classes w.e.f 08/06/2021 to12/06/2021 at DRC Kathua. 
                   DIET Basohli organised subject specific training in Science for secondary level 
       Masters/Teachers of District Kathua through virtual mode in which about 47 teachers 
       from  District  Kathua  participated.  Effective  methods  of  teaching  science, 
       examination taking skills and syllabus of 10th class were discussed by Atul Sharma 
       Lect.  Chemistry,  Harpreet  Singh  tr.  Biology,  Chaman  Lal  Sr.  Lect.  DIET  and  Suraj 
       Parkash Lect. Zoology 
       The modules presented during five days are 
        01 The Fundamental unit of life 
        02 Tissues 
        03 Life processes 
        04 Chemical Reactions and equations 
        05 Light-Reflection and Refraction. 
        There  was  full  evaluation  session  where  25  questions  were  asked  through 
        Google docs which all the teachers submitted successfully.

       secondary classes w.e.f 22/06/2021 to26/06/2021 at DRC Kathua. 
                   DIET Basohli organised subject specific training inS. Science for secondary level 
       Masters/Teachers of District Kathua through virtual mode in which about 80 teachers 
       from  District  Kathua  participated.  Effective  methods  of  teaching  S.science, 
       examination taking skills and syllabus of 10th class were discussed by Sushil Singh, 
       Sunil Singh ,and Mr. Paawan Vivek DRG .The subject specific training in social science 
       was co-ordinated by Mr. K K Badyal HOD DIET assisted by Chaman Lal Sr. Lect. DIET 
       Basohli. In the valedictory function Principal DIET Basohli Sh. Nand Kishore spoke to 
       the participants at length during inauguration and valediction. The positive feed back 
       about the training by the participants delighted the Principal and assured them that 
       more  and  more  such  subject  specific  training  will  be  conducted  in  future.  DIET 
       Principal appreciated the hard work and commitment of the DIET facility and the 
       Resource persons for making the programs extra ordinary and result oriented   
       .

      Report regarding five day innovative and integrated pedagogical virtual training 
         on  teaching  of  Mathematics  for  secondary  level  Masters/Trs.  with  effect 
         from 29/06/2021 to 03/07/2021 
      .The five day programme began via ZOOM virtual platform .The programme was 
         organised  by  DRU  wing  of  DIET  Basohli.  The  inauguration  and  welcome 
         address  was  conducted  by  Sh.  Nand  Kishore  (Principal  DIET  Basohli).The 
         concept note was addressed by Smt. Champa Devi HOD DIET Basohli (DRU). 
         Sh.  Paawan Vevak Sharma (DRG Kathua) introduced about ICT integrated 
         teaching learning process.  70 out of 96 masters and teachers of HSSs and HSs 
         of Distt. Kathua participated in this programme 
      .   All the resource persons namely Sh. Satender Singh Pathania tr., Sh. Hardev 
         Verma tr. and Vishal Anand tr. were highly professional and well acquainted

         with technology. on 5  day feedback was taken from the participants online. 
         Facilitating the session Sh. Nand Kishore Principal DIET Basohli appreciated 
         the  conduct  of  the  programme  and  also  appreciated  the  punctuality  and 
         dedication of the participants. Concluding the programme, vote of thanks 
         was presented by Sh. Paawan Vivek Sr. Lect.HSS Girls Kathua (DRG).
