                    MPPSC has released MPPSC State Services Examination 2020 Notification. Every year more 
                    than 3 lakh students appear for the exam to get an entry in states' most prestigious 
                    government post. It is very important for the students to get the correct idea about the exam 
                    pattern before starting the preparation.  
                    In this PDF, we are sharing you with the latest exam pattern for the MPPSC State Services 
                    Examination 2020. 
                                                       MPPSC Preliminary Examination  
                         •    The preliminary exam consists of two Papers which are: 
                              (a) General Studies  
                              (b) CSAT 
                              Nature of the Examination: Objective type (Multiple choice questions) 
                              Number of questions: 100 in each paper 
                              Total marks=200 for each paper (Each question carries 2 marks; No Negative 
                              Marking will be there in case of any wrong answer.) 
                              The time duration for each paper=2 hours (120 minutes). 
                         •    Question papers will be available in both Hindi and English languages. 
                         •    The minimum eligibility criteria for Mains Examination is: aspirants must score a 
                              minimum of 40% marks in each question paper of Preliminary examination.  
                              For SCs/STs/OBCs and PWDs it is 30%. 
                    Note: As there is no provision of negative marking for any number of wrong answers, So, 
                    aspirants are advised to attempt the maximum number of questions in the examination to 
                    increase the chances to qualify it.
