students. After the movie, plan a discussion and take action to help reduce the
spread of COVID-19 in prisons.

HOW WILL MY AUDIENCE WATCH JUST MERCY?
Each member of your virtual screening audience can view JUST MERCY on HBO
or HBO Max. The movie is also available for purchase on a number of digital
platforms, as well as on DVD and Blu-ray.
HOW WILL WE DISCUSS THE MOVIE?
You can choose how to bring your audience together for a discussion. Get the
discussion guide at representjustice.org/watch, and find resources on voting
rights for those impacted by the justice system at representjustice.org/action.
One option is for your audience to rent and watch the movie on their own
schedules, and then come together for a group discussion. You can use any
video platforms for your discussion, such as Zoom, YouTube Live, or Facebook
Live. You can plan a moderated Q&A or panel discussion for larger groups or a
roundtable conversation for smaller groups. You may also want to invite your
audience to share discussion questions in advance, while they watch the movie.
A second option for your virtual screening is to ask you audience to watch and
discuss the movie at the same time. Everyone participating will need to rent the
movie and be ready to hit play at the same time. Your audience can live Tweet
reactions and questions while watching. We hope you will tag @WeRepJustice
and use #RepresentJustice, so we can join in and amplify!
