Loving Literacy 
                    Scavenger Hunt
  Dear Families and Friends,
      To celebrate the culmination of the school year, the students will 
  participate in a Literacy Scavenger Hunt.  Under the supervision of 
  teachers and parents, students will engage in a variety of literacy related 
  activities that will highlight their understanding of skills taught 
  throughout the year.  Students will walk through the school and town on a 
  scavenger hunt and work together to find literacy related items.  The 
  event will be approximately an hour and a half long.  Parents and 
  teachers will photograph and document  their  findings and share their 
  results at the conclusion of the literacy adventure.
