The Epilepsy Foundation is dedicated to reducing the impact of epilepsy on people’s lives. Our Vision is to
ensure that people with epilepsy have equitable access to education and employment, feel safe and
connected in their community and no longer die from their epilepsy.
About you
This key role, suitable for an experienced social media lead will challenge your creativity! The work is
outcome-driven, fast-paced, collaborative and within a friendly, small team. You will be a member of
Marketing Department and work closely with the Fundraising Team. You will also support other departments’
marketing needs, as required.
Some of your responsibilities are to:
• Deliver the organisation’s social media communications strategy including both organic and paid
socials activities.
• Create engaging and original organic content for multiple social media platforms (including
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube) for the Epilepsy Foundation and its major
programs, in line with brand guidelines
• Assist the Digital Marketing Communications Lead with the creation of short-form video content
(YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook Live etc)
• Ensure responsive and appropriate monitoring of social media channels, comments, enquiries etc. in
order to maintain the reputation of the EF.
• Ensure all content, whether written, photographic, video or graphics, is high quality, accurate,
audience-focused, engaging and respectful of people living with epilepsy
• Create, test and optimise paid social media advertisements, using tools such Facebook Ads
• Ensure integration of social media activities with other marketing mix activities including, but not
limited to various websites and other digital and traditional marketing programs.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on social media campaigns in line with agreed KPIs.
You will have a good understanding of tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite and be able to work
in a small marketing team in a collaborative and cooperative way.
