• Members: Career development, greater understanding of organization/agency, confidence, social
networking, skills (e.g., project management, teamwork)
• ERG Leaders: The above plus, increased opportunities for contact with senior leaders and an enhanced
profile in the agency/organization, development of leadership skills
• Workforce: More inclusive workforce with greater awareness of DEIA, greater commitment to and
understanding of DEIA, greater opportunities for diversity training and understanding of different
populations
• Senior Leadership: The above plus, access to insightful employees on DEIA and issues of concern,
opportunities to work with unique groups as an advocate, champion, or sponsor; enhanced profile as a
leader committed to DEIA, and demonstrated ability to work closely and effectively with diverse groups
