Bachelor of Business
The Bachelor of Business has been developed to ensure you graduate job ready, with the core business knowledge and
skills required to move into management roles in large organisations or become an entrepreneur and launch your own
business.
This course will teach you how to research, analyse and interpret the domestic and international business
environments. Critical thinking skills are used to create strategic business and marketing plans and identify strategic
business opportunities. Business knowledge, combined with electives in marketing, public relations, events, tourism
and hospitality will give you varied career options and a chance to learn about a variety of different business areas.
Through our Industry Placement Program, you'll learn about the contemporary business environment first hand,
and gain practical skills to complement your theoretical knowledge.

IBBM Delivery Schedule 2017
FEES
• Fees for 2017 is PGK 2,200 per Unit for non residential students
• Fees must be paid before the start of each Trimester on 20th February, 5 June and 18th September
• Withdrawal and fee refund is possible before the Census date of each Trimester
• 15% Discount is eligible if Full Fees for the year is paid upfront. Refund will not apply if discount is availed
ENROLMENT
• Download the Enrolment Form and submit with all required documents to customerservice@ibbm.com.pg
• Complete all entry requirements ( PNG Year 12 with English with GPA 1.5 or Higher)
• Re-enrolment form must be submitted before the start of each Trimester
COURSE STRUCTURE and EXIT POINTS
• Download Course Information Sheet from our website (www.ibbm.com.pg)
• On completion of First Year (5 Core and 3 Electives), students may exit with DIPLOMA of BUSINESS
• On completion of Second Year (10 Core and 6 Electives), students may exit with ASSOCIATE DEGREE of BUSINESS
• On completion of Third Year (11 Core and 13 Electives), students will complete a BACHELOR of BUSINESS
• Selection of Core and Electives must be made according to Levels as required by the course
THIRD YEAR SPECIALISATIONS
• Upon completing the first and second year, students can choose to specialise in MARKETING or PUBLIC RELATIONS
by choosing specialisation subjects as electives (*Conditions apply and subject to change)
CLASSES and COURSE WORK
• Classes will be held on all Mondays of each Trimester at Port Moresby Campus from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Students can return to work from Tuesdays to Fridays
• Students must complete all requirement of work, Industry Placement and Industry Consulting Projects to complete
the course requirements
ONLINE STUDENT
• Students may choose to take some Units via Online Mode.
• IBBM will connect them to Torrens University Australia for Online Study Mode.
CREDIT FOR AUSTRALIAN UNITS
• When seeking Credits for previous Australian qualifications, please apply on a separate CREDIT APPLICATION FORM.
• Granting of Credit will be subject to meeting Torrens University Australia requirements.
