  particular formulation in a specific  
  container to remain within a  
  particular chemical, microbiological,  
  therapeutical, physical & toxicological 
   specification.
  ASPIRIN

   The breakdown is a chemical reaction involving  
   the collisions of the molecules.This breakdown is  
   affected by various factors such as presence of  
   oxygen, acidity, alkalinity, moisture and light. This

     PHYSICAL DEGRADATION
  • It is the degradation which results into 
    the change of physical nature of drug.
   The formulation is totally changed by  
   way of appearance, organoleptic  
   properties, hardness, brittleness, particle 
    size.
