Introduction
• The continual improvement of the management system and
its processes should be a strategic objective of each
organisation.
• Organization should have a process in place how to identify
and manage the improvements.

IAEA requirements
• The regulatory body shall establish and implement a management
system whose processes are open and transparent [10]. The
management system of the regulatory body shall be continuously
assessed and improved (GSR part 1 (rev.1) 4.14)
• Responsibility of senior management for the management system
• Senior management shall be responsible for establishing, applying,
sustaining and continuously improving a management system to
ensure safety (GSR part 2 Req. 3)
• 6.8. Organizations shall make arrangements to learn from
successes and from strengths for their organizational development
and continuous improvement (GSR part 2 Req. 13)
