Classification of Essays
   • Essays may be classified in five kinds.
   • Reflective Essays
   • Narrative Essays
   • Descriptive Essays
   • Expository Essays
   • Imaginative Essays
    Reflective Essays:
    • A reflection is a thought on a subject. So a reflective essay 
    consists of thoughts on some topic, which generally is of an 
    abstract nature.
    • For example:
    • Habit & qualities, i.e. 
    •     Honesty, Patriotism, Truthfulness etc
    • Social, Political and Domestic topics
    •     Poverty, Education, Democracy
    Reflective Essays:
    • Philosophical subjects; i.e.
    •   Right, Wrong, Reality, Meaning of the Universe etc.
    • Religious or Theological Topic; i.e. 
    •     Concept of evil, etc.
    Reflective Essays:
    • Writing about such theme you should write to :
    • To explain e.g. the importance of possessing good habit and 
    quote from historical and literary events.
    • Discuss the importance of social institution
    • Discuss Philosophical Theories:
    • You should support your statement with arguments and 
    facts.
    Narrative Essays:
    • A narrative essay consists of the narration of some events or a 
     series of events. It should be treated as a subject for thought 
     and comments so that it should be more or less reflective.
    • A narrative essays deals with the topics like:
    • Historical stories or legends.
    • Biographies.
    • Incidents.
    • An accident.
    • A journey.
