Our Goals for the
• Course
Create Cooperative Learning
Environment
–Students can maximize their own and
each other’s learning when they work
together (Holubec, Johnson, & Johnson, 1993)
• Experiential Learning Activities
–Engage students in phenomena they’re
studying (Cantor, 1997)
Course Content
• Comprised of three sections
–Organizations
–Management & Leadership
–Human Resource Management
• Multiple forms of assessment
–Reflections, writing, presenting, working in
groups
• Opportunities for trial and error – low
risk!
