Some of these factors are outside of our control (e.g. age, environment) but many are to do with choices people make (e.g. alcohol, 9 drugs, smoking.) 1 0 2 s r e d A table like the one below could be used to identify each factor; exploring the a e L s t way/s in which this factor might effect health (e.g. does it cause disease, r o p S reduce body function etc.) and any recommendations that are made by © regulatory bodies (e.g. alcohol limits, 5 a day, exercise guidelines etc.) Healthy lifestyle factor How does this factor effect Recommendations health? 9 1 / 8 0 Personal lifestyle improvement strategies 2 e u s s I There may be some areas of your own lifestyle which you could change in 6 7 8 0 L order to be more healthy. S Areas to consider might include: • Improved diet • Doing more exercise 9 1 0 2 s • Getting more sleep r e d a e L • Talking about worries and concerns s t r o p S Activity – Keeping track © Time: various Select an area (or a couple of areas) of your life and keep track of it/them for a few days.
