                
                  P = 2 (H + W)
                
                  P = 2 (2”+3”)
                
                  P = 10”
   What Is the Perimeter?
     A rectangle has a width of 6’- 6” and a height of 4’-0”. 
     What is the perimeter of the rectangle?
              6’- 6”
                           
                          Convert 6’-6” to decimal feet 
  4’-0”                   6’-6” = 6 ft +  
                          = 6.5 ft
           
             P = 2 (H + W)
           
             P = 2 (4’+6.5’)
           
             P = 21’
   What Is the Perimeter?

    What is the perimeter of the rectangle?

  Convert to decimal feet 
  8’-4” = 8 ft +
