MISCONCEPTION
You may think that an online search to collect many
sources is sufficient evidence of research.
Doing a series of online searches is not research.
You must understand what you have read and reflect
on its
use in helping you make choices along your inquiry
journey.

BIBLIOGRAPHY IS A TOOL
• Help students evaluate
and reflect on sources
they found according to
their topic.
• It is NOT part of the
ACADEMIC PAPER
Provides the reader with an
ordered list of sources for
additional reading.
