Lamination requirement for
the ferromagnetic plates
The lamination direction shall correspond to
the Z direction for the Side-PMS, the Front- HVB-PMS
PMS, and Rear-PMS;
For the Top-PMS and Bottom-PMS, the
lamination direction shall correspond to the Y Z Top-PMS
direction.
The lamination direction must be marked for Y
each plate. Top-PMS
The manufacturing shall follow the direction of
the lamination as shown in figures beside.
Top-PMS
The plates shall be produced following:
Front-PMS
EN 10163-1 and EN 10163-2:
Delivery requirements for surface condition of Side-PMS
hot-rolled steel plates, wide flats, and sections.
Side-PMS
NF EN 10025-1 and NF EN 10025-2:
Hot rolled products of structural steels. Bottom-PMS

2 Requirements
The S235 shall have a curve higher or equal B-H curve given.
1.5 To validate this property, the following tests shall be made:
) Two specimens taken from different plates for each casting production
T 1 shall be tested.
( the following curves shall be recorded:
B • Magnetization curve;
0.5 • Hysteresis cycle (1Hz);
• Magnetic permeability curve at least up to 2.5T.
