                  accordancewithEURegulationN°1169/2011.Thisregulationhelpscustomersmakeinformed
                  decisionsabouttheingredientsandnutritionofthefoodandbeveragestheyconsume.Food
                  manufacturers,businessfoodoperatorsanddistributorsmustclearlymarkandemphasizeall
                  allergens in the ingredient list.

       Update the Allergen List
       BarTender'ssampledocumentcontainsalistof30commonallergens,asdefinedbyEURegulation
       N°1169/2011.Thisallergenlistisintendedtobeastartingpointfortheallergensusedinyour
       productionenvironment,andisstoredinanexternaltxtfile,Allergen.txt.Alist ofthese included
       allergens are also listed in AppendixA ofthis white paper.
          NOTE:YouarefullyresponsibleformaintainingtheAllergenlist andcomplyingwiththe
          EU Regulation. The allergens includedwiththis sample document maynot
          comprehensivelycoverallallergensderivedfromthecategoriesdefinedbythe
          EU Regulation. Updatestotheinstalledallergenlist shouldinclude allvariationsofthe
          allergens usedinyourcompany,includingspellingvariations(e.g.kamut vskamult),
          translatedallergennames,pluralformsoftheallergens(e.g.eggvseggs)and/or
          specific types ofanallergen(e.g. salmon, herring, mackerelandsquidallfallunderthe
          category"fish").
       Tomodifytheallergenlist:
        1. LocatethefileAllergen.txt onyourcomputerandopenitinthetexteditorofyourchoice.By
          default, this file is installed in the same directory as the BarTender document.
        2. Enteryourallergens,oneperlineinthetextfile.
        3. Savethefileandcloseoutofthetexteditor.
