Classroom Routine 
         Scavenger Hunt  
    Each year, at the start of a new year, I like to do a Scavenger Hunt 
   around my classroom to help my students become familiar with their 
    surroundings and the routines I want to establish in our classroom. 
    This year I incorporated technology with the scavenger hunt by 
      allowing students to take picture of the item with the iPad. 
                     
    I have students work in their teams to build community as well as 
    work their way around the room. I have found it helpful to assign 
    duties such as Scribe, Quiet Captain, iPad Manager, Team Liaison)  
                     
    I also like to use this at the beginning of the Spring Semester after 
    we have had a few weeks away from the classroom and routines.
